Interesting. Two counter-rotating turbines on a vertical axis. Large size → slow rotation → safer for wildlife. Vertical blades which sea birds perceive as natural obstacles and avoid. Linked page is in English.

It's obviously just a home page promoting the company, but interesting nevertheless. I'd have liked to hear my father's thoughts on it (mechanical engineer who sometimes involved himself in the electrical engineering aspects too).

No kidding my friends in the UK is also an engineer I believe mechanical but highly specialized. Interesting about your father indeed do you think you got technology interest from him?
