I'm having trouble getting around the "nice German word" part of your tweet.I've kept my dad's surname my whole life. nobody else can spell it or say it! I spend an hour and 43 minutes and 25 seconds per day explaining it! What did my Hungarian Iberian dad do to deserve that? 😜

The thing with that word is that it is an abbreviation itself… Pronounciation might be a bit an issue because the "ü" is a sound I can not remember having found in the English language. I guess with German languages as primary language, I would not have problems with your name.

No you would have no problem with my name and I'm sure you probably can even interpret what it means 😊 there are signs in parts of Austria with it and a town that is spelled exactly the same way. I blame that whole austro-hungarian empire border shifting thing for my surname!
