Turning back to the ongoing dramas around psychopharmaceuticals, in this case antidepressants a new rapid acting form of antidepressant has been approved for use in the US by the FDA. It is a combo of dextromethorphan and bupropion.

Dextromethorphan is already a drug of abuse. Bupropion is , an existing SSRI. It is weird timing considering the well-known problems with ssris and the debunking of the serotonin theory. It adds yet another Arsenal in the US for big Pharmaceutical profits and patient dangers.
