38 years on benzos I'm finally at the last taper and she's going to go slow I found a good Clinic with a supportive NP, therapy, peer support. At my worst they had me up to 10 mg a day of lorazepam I didn't realize that was truly sick. Down to 75 mg clonazepam per day. Thank you!

Isn't lorazepam much "milder" than clonazepam? I admitted myself to a psych ward when 12mgs clonazepam couldn't calm me down and I had symptoms like slowness, and slurred speech, and I struggled to walk already.

It's a dose related issue when it comes to strength but the differences is that clonazepam has a much longer Half-Life meaning that it will stay in your system much longer and therefore better coverage for symptoms during a taper especially. I don't get any therapeutic results.

I self-medicated adverse withdrawal effects (so I was "just hypomanic" yikes), later with the leftover pills, as they banned me from taking them anymore. It's so stupid as I now see, they drugged me with more dangerous long-term drugs and with ugly side effects, but said I can't
