It's challenging in today's web development. There is a whirlwind of so many options and so much noise the signal seems to be lost. The model of HTML CSS and JavaScript is still with us but it's obfuscated by too many choices. What thoughts do you have on a clear way forward?

A great step for mankind would be achieved when all web-designers and web-developers would ensure that their web pages successfully pass the W3C validator.

I don’t really have an answer, but I’m with you on the signal getting lost in the noise. Some people look to tools to do heavy lifting. Others look to tools to patch a lack of understanding of fundamentals. The latter creates a lesser craft, bloated code and poor accessibility.

Doesn't that seem so limiting? it closes off entry points and opportunity for innovation and collaboration. It limits development to such a narrow scope because it's so finite. I think that's potentially damaging for developers entering the field and damaging to the field itself.
