Get pissed with me if you want but I hate low code no code development. Anything that takes us away from learning our profession inhibits true innovation. It is unprofessional. You can't fix it if you don't know it and it insults those in education who know learning is lifelong.

What examples of the low code no code development are you thinking? For BPMN, I see it as a great idea. For web development, to date, it produces inaccessible 馃挬.

Can you drag and drop and interact with a graphical user interface? Many people cannot. That right there is a red flag. Why do I have to use my hands to accomplish a task that should provide multiple input and output options both for preference and accessibility?

Agreed, the drag & drop isn鈥檛 accessible. For complex business rules, though, the BPMN functionality is a huge help. Not all jobs will be accessible. YET, people creating tools have a responsibility (they鈥檙e not honoring) to create accessible tools. I hope @Appian will do better!

I have a condition requiring accessible support does that mean I can only be a user that may have or may not have accessible features in an application or website and I can't ever hope or dream to be a developer. That is pure exclusion. Also not legal in many places

There are some job roles that will not be possible for some folks. Even Section 508 doesn鈥檛 apply for some sectors. Given the complexity of some situations, BPMN has tremendous potential to improve, for example, getting benefits to people in dire need of them.

What's more we are at looking at the whole picture we are only looking at certain sensory input output. We think there are only five senses and that we cannot provide for them all there are far more than 5 senses. Great hearing in two different people is still different.

I have a conditionthat I have a Schedule A letter for. Some roles won鈥檛 suit me. I couldn鈥檛 go to West Point due to my astigmatism. There鈥檚 lots I can do. Web dev is often inaccessible to some with disabilities. My W3C co-lead struggles with the tools we use. 馃寧 can do better!

I get that we can never be Universal 100% that's impossible but a lot of problem if we remove applied accessibility from the tack it on or as a car seller who sells cars to blind people? So why bother. The relationship of access 2 disability is political not technical.
