HA! Victor this is a coffee through my nose moment. So witty and oh so true. And shows true universality to the 100% is not a probability much less a sustainable one! I confess my own laziness writing descriptive text for images. Any ideas on what we could do to improve this?

Someone needs to write a book called “in search for a perfect alt text”. The book will mostly consist of blank pages! :)

I think you said it right. It will be between humans and AI to decide about the when’s and what’s of the alt text. To be honest with you, between Apple’s, Google’s and Facebook’s image recognition we are actually quite ahead in this game than ever before, IMHO!

Thanks Victor for confirming my thoughts on AI and human combos for alt and descriptive text in general as productive. My only concern with the companies doing facial recognition is a precedence of people's content being mismanaged at a time where few checks and balances exist.
