I have LinkedIn it's too busy and I use Facebook but let's for Tech talk this is a better place for Tech talk. I have no intentions of leaving unless Elon starts to be more ridiculous than he has been in the entire lifetime of Twitter which is a hefty amount of ridiculous.

I don't have any intention of leaving as well (Twitter is the only network I truly participate in) but time to explore other ones as well... (Somehow LinkedIn has never appealed)

Wow late to the party. I've been too busy blogging to be on Twitter. Me and the seven people who read/comment in each other's blogs where we are more "thinking out loud" than conversing and chatting.

Well I'm glad you stopped in here on Twitter but I do feel the need for independent blogs again it it just seems the right time with all the stuff that's going on with social media nonsense.

I dunno scale didn’t kill SMTP and POP/IMAP (email protocols) but email’s successor isn’t obvious cuz using non-email options means buying into some corp’s future policy decisions

Well it is the subsuming of a protocol under someone else's house versus that requires your information and agreement to terms of service. That's not scale to my way of thinking at all. Google did have trouble scaling it's at but that was the app not protocol.
