The way I see it Elisa, we have curated our webs but in doing so we have allowed harmful people on the net to run amok. And now that we are checking them they are "oppressed" and "censored." that utopia I never believe could exist cause we weren't honest.

Wow that's sweet hit me right in the gut. I don't know if it's that we weren't honest. It's the beginning of the S curve in engineering we don't know where it's going to take us we didn't know and we may be trusted the little too much because it was a very different time.

I did not see an economic drive at all in 1993 that started happening a few years later.

As an ideal I love the web as a tool for human gross and social strengths, the individual technologies that are eloquent and logical and do the job with minimal overhead and maximum information. As a user? 30 years later I am becoming unable to use the web without difficulty.
