Does it smell musky in here or is it me?

He’s asking his critics to stay on Twitter, the only thing that may be different is his critics may from people they don’t like that they can block. I don't think it will be that bad. It could be worse. We will have to wait and see.
I hope that even my worst critics remain on Twitter, because that is what free speech means

I don't know how it will be. I like aspects of Musk, but he is a bigger stage whore than I ever was and he's got plenty of kids, money, responsibility :P

It still isn’t remotely clear to me what he wants out of this. If recent free-speech-centric social networks are any indication, he won’t recoup a fraction of that $43B; his unpredictable-troll persona makes it difficult to tell if he actually has a plan or not.

I don’t think the people backing Musk would bet on something they thought would fail, but—especially considering how increasingly toxic Facebook’s public image is—this seems like a remarkably bad time to be underscoring Twitter’s already grim reputation for abuse and extremism.

Twitter Grim sounds like a great name for a weird character in a novel :) I'll be fine with Musk so long as free speech doesn't equal pardoning that guy that fucked up all of our lives and letting him back. That'd piss me off for sure.
