Could you tell a little more about that anger? Also how long have you been studying web accessibility if I may ask just out of curiosity because many people are new to it and many of us are veterans we need to talk all of us and learn from each other!

This is it, exactly. I’ve been hammering at this for 11 years in online education spaces. I still bump into people who think about #a11y in an ROI framework. Like, WTAF? If you can’t afford to develop courses with #a11y as table stakes, then you can’t afford to develop courses.

Designing with a11y in mind is going to give you a better, more durable, more interoperable, easier-to-search product. It’s also cheaper than a lawsuit. AND it’s always going to be cheaper to build it right than to remediate on a tight timeline for educational accommodations.

It's not only cheaper than a lawsuit it's quality assurance. I have often thought we should just drop the term all together it is not a separate practice in web design and development it is the practice of web design and development. We need better process and education for sure
