Confusing question in a pre-vaccine wellness check: "Do you not have a functioning spleen?" when everything else is "do you have allergies?", etc.

Not really. Not having your spleen means your blood Health including immunity is significantly impaired. I have a rare bone marrow and blood disorder that includes something called splenic sequestration. Had they taken my spleen out in 2018 I would be very dead long before covid.

Oh, I understand why they ask the question and why it's important, but the "do you not have" almost made me hit the wrong answer, as all the other questions (about 30) are "do you have" or "are you". Maybe better if they'd bolded the "not"?

That's a good point. I answered verbally in the moment. I can't imagine filling out an unfeeling form with a 50/50 survival. With a 5% survival at most I told the VA no way! No more invasive surgery was a compassionate choice I did the right by Ray. Can you get another opinion?
