Is there some reasoning that leads some white women to abuse women of color and people with disabilities?

Not an expert, obviously, but I suspect there may be some measure of getting crapped on by white men, so they try to feel better by taking it out on those they perceive as further down the power curve.

I'm sure that factors in in some cases. Kind of what I used to refer to as hyper male syndrome when seeing the first large wave of women physicians in the USA who would not show any empathy. It confused me at first and then I began to realize it was in part this issue in play.
