When I first discovered the Web, all the resources available bar one were aimed at developers. The single exception were the Lynda.com books which were aimed at designers.

When I started learning CSS the only books available at the time were focussed on teaching people the language. However the examples they used failed to resonate with me as a designer as they were all super abstract and theoretical.

Webdesign-l 🤸🤸🤸 what a great list that was! I think many of us learned of each other's work and interests there and became friends and colleagues of the ages because of that list in the first place!
