Why can’t my browser automatically tell every website I visit I don’t want my information sold to third parties, followed after I leave, etc? It’s not like I’m pausing at every url to make a unique decision. Enough with the individual cookie decisions.

That would be an excellent feature. Part of the problem is coming from legal and social pressure to inform the public that third-party cookies can be used to against our individual security and privacy. I'd suggest we encourage developers and vendors to address this better.
