I was thinking "Metallica at Lollapalooza 2022 is like the Stones at Live Aid" but in fact the Stones had only been around 20 years at the time of Live Aid. Green Day is older than that. Metallica is like if Lionel Hampton had been at Live Aid.

I've heard from more than a few friends Jane's Addiction cleaned the floor with that Lollapalooza lineup. Talk about defining moments in rock history.

I love it finally somebody is talking about rap and hip hop. Jazz and metal seem to be taking main stage in this conversation. That must have been an interesting show.
