How many coders, devs, programmmers, IT peeps, technical design folks are also musicians and/or seriously in pursuit of music lifelong? Curious to know as for more than 30 years in tech I see a lot of crossover.

Impressive. Walk me through the various fretboards if you want I'd like to know. I don't recognize a couple there.

Sure. L>R 10st chapman stick, super cheap bass, 12str warr, 4str silicon string ashbury but mostly 3str as the G snaps frequently

Darn those G-strings! 😛 I was pretty sure that was a Chapman Stick. Got to see Tony Levin play his for the King Crimson Discipline tour. 80s. Levin, Beaufort, Belew and Fripp at Grady Gammage Hall, Frank Lloyd Wright. Near perfect acoustics. Me n my friends all left speechless.

What's the backstory on how you came to meet him and get your guitar signed there's got to be some good story there.

not a great story but tony is a good guy - his band played in philly and i brought the bass - after the show he was just hanging out and was happy to sign it -

In Philly no less. Brooklyn born Jersey raised kid here. Saw so many great shows coming of age east coast. Very cool you had that experience with Levin. He seems very chill for such a force.
