How many coders, devs, programmmers, IT peeps, technical design folks are also musicians and/or seriously in pursuit of music lifelong? Curious to know as for more than 30 years in tech I see a lot of crossover.

Cool choices in instruments there. I relate to the tenor centric as well, trained voice is Soprano but natural tenor voice and hear to tenor range sounds first. Interesting stuff!

I started in alto range with clarinet and xylophones. But my orchestra conductor needed a bassist and knew my ear. I fell for the double bass and realized tenor and bass caught me more.

Learning overtone singing has been a great way to explore all voices and breath control for me. It's weird and very challenging, but I am fascinated by the fact we can generate more than one note at a time.
