It's only the 3rd day of my #100DaysOfCSS challenge and I'm already starting to get mad at how much time it's taking me to draw those pictures not to mention animations. CSS is the most time-consuming part of web development.

That is one of the things that tends to frustrate so many devs with minimal CSS experience. They assume because CSS is so ‘basic’ and ‘simple’ that anything built with it should be likewise be simple and basic. When in fact it can be as complex as any JavaScript algorithm.

CSS is not taught consistently or well as an actual language. Typically we learn by creating effects or visual design. Who teaches specificity these days? Or understands the reason for! Important? Finding good teachers who teach the language now that is hard!
