Remember when we as #webdesigners and #webdevs we'd encourage clients to URL all the things? Biz cards of course but clever stuff like TV ads, eegee's was among the first I remember. URLs on the top of San Francisco's bus system as seen from my hotel was a surprise! Share yours!

not a visual I saw but rather I remember radio ads awkwardly trying to spell out URLs:
"h t t p colon forward slash, forward slash, w w w dot whatever dot com"
