We have and we have had this for a long time. I was born a few months after the Cuban Missile Crisis began. Nuclear threat has gone on throughout my life. Personally? I'm more concerned that Germany is re-arming when the Berlin Wall only came down in 1989. Accelerated devolution.
Both Russia and United States have over 1 thousand high-alert, launch-ready nuclear warheads. I hope we never see a world war again. We will not survive it. Stop this war. Humanity depends on it.

The planned(!) 100 billion for the neglected German army are far from being in the bag. There are many who have a say here and who are against any rearmament - especially of such a magnitude (for EU levels).

Thank you. Germany taking a stance in European theater is a legacy in history along with provable measurable social change that bring Germany to the stage as part of an alliance against Russia. Not unreasonable but in only thirty years or so? That is significant and disturbing.

Born in 24th October 1962, the world facing the perils of a 3rd World war, I joined The Navy in 1983 in the so called „cold war“ Tell us about living in face of a nuclear threat. We were all hoping that „the Russians love their children too“ [Sting]

Heartbreak. Dad, US Army Korea. Purple heart, broken brain, friend's bones in his spine. Ray. Navy corpsman Vietnam. Cambodia? China? War no no military police action. Lost impossible! Nixon was Not a Crook write and Vietnam was not our first televised serial reality TV.
