I'm an old radical assholes who you don't have to ever listen to but if you want to learn JavaScript, CSS, HTML learn the languages. Frameworks are limiting our greater abilities. Haven't we had enough of bad code it's 30 freaking years of the web now

I'm an old conservative asshole who you don't have to listen to, but if you want to learn JavaScript, CSS, HTML, etc start learning from the fundamentals of those languages. Not the libraries, not the frameworks. There is too much magic happening under the hood hidden from you.

I’m dealing with that now on projects. Me: Why can’t the search bar be above the table column headers. Dev: Our JSS framework that creates the searchable table won’t allow it. Me: 🤯

Listen to that language Jason our jss framework that creates the searchable table. We would never have spoken like that in the midst of the web standards movement ever know the code was the Mantra and apparently we never got it right I hate Frameworks so much

Me too. It pisses devs off because I hand code my prototype designs and then they can’t replicate them because of frameworks, templates, and themes they use to make it “simpler”.

Again Jason nailing another Point! there's nothing simple about this web because we don't know what it is anymore there was a Vision we had a better understanding and grasp on it even with the mistakes we made while young that happens anywhere. This is out of hand.
