Can anyone show me a contemporary website that is accessible, searchable, meaningful, easy-to-use, and doesn't look like other shit? Everything looks the same to me it's like there's no innovation or I'm not finding it. Ready Set show!

Strangely enough I set this as a challenge at work recently. A functional website that doesn't look like every other one out there. Portfolio sites are where its at - but accessibility still isn't standard practice.

Accessibility still isn't a standard practice? Do you know who you're speaking with? that just broke my heart I know your intentions Have No Malice but good gracious this is 30 years I'm sorry accessibility as a standard has been with us the whole time we are doing the web wrong

I meant in many portfolio sites - not that it isn't/shouldn't be.

Thank you for the clarification! You know how it goes sometimes when we don't have a full face-to-face experience with people and misperceptions that occurred during online dialog. Contacts gets missed and it's the most important starting point many times for understanding. :-)
