Buckethead is your inspiration that is really cool Kelly. I know he's among the top 10 fastest lead guitar players in the world. But Claypool OMG that man is a master of the bass I could watch him play all day long and then some! I play myself however my hands are compromised.

I have a 5 string bass that I mess around with a little, but I'm trying to focus on the 7 string guitar for the time being. I pick it up from time to time and play it like a guitar lol

That's pretty wild. The strangest I've ever gotten has been 12-string, a lot of alternate tunings, but I'm mostly a finger picker singer-songwriter type definitely not Primus LOL

He had it custom made if I recall correctly. Let me see if I can find some comments he made about it.

Oh yeah that's definitely custom that's a beautiful piece what a gorgeous instrument. Great player as well I'm trying to get up the nerve to watch the Buckethead interview I'm not sure I can handle him not being Buckethead LOL

The interview is audio only, but it's pretty meaningful. Really interesting to hear him talk about his personal challenges.

Kelly I cannot thank you enough for sharing that with me. He has made connections that are so fascinating neurologically I was not joking when I first said I would love to see an fmri of these guys because there is definitely some very unique neurology going on there amazing

Yea, I found it really relatable as someone who tries to manage a lot of anxiety and it was nice to see in some ways he's just like the rest of us.

I think it took him so much courage to be able to do that podcast. I also didn't realize he had been so damn prolific. I just love the idea of a Buckethead amusement park how funny is that LOL

Just know I must have many many buckets for a full Buckethead experience;-) my heart is so deeply moved from listening to him that was really really insightful and I've been in therapy for decades off and on and I have never heard of any therapist that respectful and astute
