If y'all ever want to get me a present? Brain fMRIs of Les Claypool and Buckethead to study them side by side. I bet Les's brain is completely lit. Buckethead is dark matter with little flashes of light where his finger speed and hands are controlled. 😂 youtube.com/MEDB4xJsXVo

Buckethead is your inspiration that is really cool Kelly. I know he's among the top 10 fastest lead guitar players in the world. But Claypool OMG that man is a master of the bass I could watch him play all day long and then some! I play myself however my hands are compromised.

I have a 5 string bass that I mess around with a little, but I'm trying to focus on the 7 string guitar for the time being. I pick it up from time to time and play it like a guitar lol

That's pretty wild. The strangest I've ever gotten has been 12-string, a lot of alternate tunings, but I'm mostly a finger picker singer-songwriter type definitely not Primus LOL

He had it custom made if I recall correctly. Let me see if I can find some comments he made about it.

Gorgeous guitar and surprisingly affordable as listed. Here at my place have a Takamine gray burst acoustic electric cutaway, a Martin acoustic and a Guild acoustic electric cutaway I think it's a three-quarter maybe a little bigger it's not quite full size. More in storage

The interview is audio only, but it's pretty meaningful. Really interesting to hear him talk about his personal challenges.

Yeah it looks like it's really interesting I'm taking a deep breath and I'm going to dive in right now especially if it's audio I was just freaking like I've never seen his face or heard him speak what a piece of work. Let's give this a listen
