I see people in the responses to my tweets about anti-trans legislation going "and imagine who they'll come for next," and I think they don't realize the way they're implicitly positioning trans lives as nothing more than a canary in the coal mine for rights they *do* care about

I'm confused because 'to come for us' is a phrase used by Jews and has really significant meaning in that context. My state and my nation is government could care less about us they make stupid laws to hide their own lies. And they do come for us.

So much! Why do we have a world filled with so much stupidity and hate and ignorance that people just say these things as if they make no difference or history never happened or you and I are somehow wrong because we don't fit into their world view oh poor them huh
