A lot of posts about #CSS and #Javascript perhaps from 100 days of code are interesting as there are a lot of folks saying how hard they are to learn. It's not you! We do not teach Web languages themselves, rather focus on technique. Why do you think this is so widespread in Web?

You do more than try you are a real educator and teach language as well as technique. What factors do you find most harmful or difficult to manage in terms of getting through to people about this issue of language from the bottom up?

Immeasurable. And I have never been encouraged by any client, publisher or conference to teach anything but technique. No rubric, no curriculum, no consistent learniing helps.

What's an element? (JOKE) but not really. Language syntax and nomenclature in Web is so poorly understood for the very reasons we're examining here.
