Do you believe in luck? Or is luck something we make? What happens when a soul loses her ferocity, faith and belief? Can we come back from loss of nearly everyone and everything when forever lost? 馃挀

What is it that you want? Be very clear about it. Then do the steps.

That makes sense when we have control over our choices in a given situation. But I've never known anybody to reverse two terminal diagnoses. I'm doing the best I can surviving as long as I can and that's about the best I can do. Any advice for that?

I鈥檓 surviving despite retaliation and a murder threat. I sit quietly to reflect on what I want and what I have ability to tackle. Then do the thing. You have some control in the moment.

I'm sorry for your trauma. I empathize. I do not find CBT to be an effective form of therapy during the worst of times, only when one is focused enough to use the tools. I'm glad you find some results. I find very little help from the disaster that is US We Don't Health Care.

I loathe CBT. DBT helped, although frustrated. Not settling for the dumpster fire of offerings is exhausting and hard. I imagine it鈥檚 tough where you鈥檙e located, too. You have left a massive influence. Every day your candor, courage, & conviction continue to. 馃槏

I'm very fortunate for all the darned misfortune. I am in a very good trauma counseling using hybrid approaches. I'm not big on mind/body splitting in the way we deal with so-called behavior issues. Trauma is injury, and it isn't curable. But it doesn't need to define us. xo/m
