Hey cool Navy Submariner? My cousin was too my husband served as a Navy corpsman in Vietnam you can only imagine what hell that was.

Can't even imagine what it was like in Vietnam during the war. I did 4 tours in Afghanistan luckily I was in the rear with the gear.

Four tours how many years does that equal? Even in the rear with the gear I can't imagine.

2 years total. I was in the Air Force so we would do 6 month rotations.

Do you appreciate when people tell you that they are grateful for you are service? I never want to insult or offend people are very different about that issue just as very sick people don't always like attention or being ignored. Are you out now and safe I hope so

I dont mind when people show appreciation. I try to stay low key about my service to our country. I served because I knew it was the right thing for me to do. I've been retired since 2013.
