Hey folks鈥攚eird question鈥攊n CA we had a PO Box that was open 24/7. They left the PO box area open, but locked the rest. I got a PO box in Phoenix, and I can only get mail during regular PO hours? HUH? Is this normal? Seems really useless to have to pick it up by 6pm & no Sundays.

I can't speak for Phoenix but here in Tucson there are certain branches of USPS that are open but with our current postmaster who knows. Suggest looking into UPS store or something like that they often have the boxes available 24/7

We have a UPS box in Scottsdale. And we have two keys: one for the box, and one to open the outside door into the box area in off hours.

That is exactly how the UPS Store did it's here fortunately I now have a lock box what's a locked package box courtesy of USPS not the US Postmaster General who will probably eradicate the entire system here in the western us at least. Get rid of that guy he is no joy
