Watch party with my brother and his partner they chose Young Frankenstein I forgot how damn funny this movie is. Epic!

This movie was a big hit as most Mel Brooks stuff was in my family growing up but this one is my favorite of his movies everybody is just so funny and what talent it's a great trip down memory lane and boy does it hold up through the years

Something to keep in mind is 1974 is almost definitely Mel's best commercial year. Blazing Saddles in February, Young Frankenstein in December. Both hold up great.

Silent movie was another of that era I think right around that time. Shear genius in all of them and such talent. Unfortunately younger people might not understand the layered jokes. It's October Breast Cancer month and that came out of Gene Wilder's Memorial to Gilda Radner!
