Absolutely agree, and have a longer list than just two things killing the dream. I call your point the year of the little e before c. eCommerce, feh. I especially hate the word monetize now. but I dislike predatory capitalists by design. Free market, OK, but how about an ethic?

This is a big problem for me too, from an edu standpoint. I personally like vanilla😜 know the code. We've been here before, why reinvent flat tires?
