So true for me as well. I miss that feeling of the world growing small and hope growing wide.

It was a wonderful feeling. For me, that early period was very hopeful and fun. That optimism what a great fuel for me. Don’t get me wrong, I still love what I’m doing and a ton of new, young and super talented people join every day- they inspire me immensely and keep me hopeful.

I have that feeling rarely, and less as time goes on and as for hope, I cannot indulge personal hopes beyond a very few (I have a total of four) but I do keep hope for others. I remain an idealist, am not a pessmimist, I lost my once very strong optimism. What's left but realism?
