While in college, I was a feature writer for a national daily and web was the only industry who offered me a job because I could write. So, here I am. :)

What topics did you cover? I have a corrolary as a poet turning to writing and media as who hires poets? I'm glad you ended up here, as your voice is needed, necessary and powerful.

It was in 1996-2005... and some of those topics are not as relevant today because our interests change with time, I wrote on sports, lifestyle, parenting, education... but then recently I wrote some fiction too: medium.com/low-volume-though…
