Exactly and I married a man who when I met him he was able body that was in 1988 and he asked me to marry him and I was 17 years younger than he was and I wasn't ready so I said I wasn't ready and then I married him when I was 51 LOL but I got so much weird crap from that
When I first met Ray he was able-bodied but he had been hurt quite badly in Vietnam and exposed to agent orange which eventually led to tumors. He asked me to marry him in 1988. I didn't answer till 2015. His wheelchair made no difference to me. To those that did I have a gesture
But since Ray passed, it's felt as though I'm never really protected. I never had that before him, either. I should be better at handling it. I am a lot less strong literally and confidence-wise. If you need a shoulder, we'll find the time zone for it, always! :)
