I haven't come across content distributed via FTP in a very very very long time... do you have examples of what will become harder to access?

Some of us use other protocols on the internet for a variety of reasons we are not just web specific folks. Mozilla could have just as well implemented SMTP if they wanted to

Same here, multi protocol, from ntp to nntp to irc Tor and many others. Ftp disappeared from my radar a long time ago. That's why I asked for examples: what am I missing?
