Yeah but think about it if we keep removing URL schemes that are for other parts of the internet from browsers what does that mean about where the web is going or where it isn't going

I haven't come across content distributed via FTP in a very very very long time... do you have examples of what will become harder to access?

Some of us use other protocols on the internet for a variety of reasons we are not just web specific folks. Mozilla could have just as well implemented SMTP if they wanted to

As is nntp … all the protocols, character based and efficient are so senselessly neglected. Because they do what theyre supposed to with less Volume.
