I don't know you say jump in but I do have techniques that I was taught to show others how to bring me down one. I teach them this and they insist that this is something I can control and I have also heard if your mouth is going Molly there's no possible way you can be listening.

One of these days we'll have to record one of our (in)famous conversations For Science so they can see *just* how bidirectional speaking/listening can be! I really wish people would try to understand that it isn't always in our control. But alas... 😒
