Got a job as a UI designer. Scared as hell, as I'm the only designer on the team.

That fear is absolutely OK. But remember this: YOU set the tone for design quality. No one else knows the first thing about it. They hired you because they NEEDED you, so walk in there with calm and confidence. Set boundaries. Do the work the way you think it should be done. 👊

In my case, they just created a new position for me because they didn’t want me to leave when I told them when I no longer wanted to do my previous job and wanted to be a designer.
