I hate this. This is not my world wide web of benefit to all whether #a11y or values or ethics or bullshit. I hate product pushers that place profit first and people maybe not at all until money. I'm upset at this Jase. What happened that changed your attitude over the years?

Honestly, it makes me absolutely sick. But, I'm not surprised to see this from Capitalism, as it's built on a platform of profit. I was very lucky to be raised by a Trekkie, so I've had awareness of how much better we could be (via theatre) if we start putting people first.

It's plain unethical. When I go to the office, I don't hang my gay hat on the desk and forget that some homophobic work rando might harass me. My fear (of actual reality) should be able to be spoken about, as well as policies affected by it.

Preach it my brother! Free and open, aim for ethical and kind. I fail every day and still won't betray my passion and belief that the Web is not for the one or the few. Free market, reasonable profit in USA, ok. But predation? At best abusive at worst, deadly.
