While I've had a lifetime of negation re my scholarly topics (STEM) it's only the last few years I've heard truly ugly comments from a few men but from far more women about scholarship and higher ed for women. Anyone else experiencing this? Why from so many women do you think?

I'm starting to learn to "know when to walk away, know when to run" but it weighs on me as any social injustice. It's not just abuse, it's destructive to society. Entire generations, many cultures all have organized against glass ceilings that persist and/or are in decline. :(

Oh I hear you. In Australia there were marches across the country yesterday for women's justice. And generally too social justice issues just show change is hard and always hard fought for. It's tiring

Exhausting, endless, global. I am worried for the word, and did not know of Australia's social issues beyond Mauris until I began visiting. Canada is undergoing issues I NEVER imagined would happen there. I am deeply worried for humanity, our ecosystem. My optimism is gone :(
