While I've had a lifetime of negation re my scholarly topics (STEM) it's only the last few years I've heard truly ugly comments from a few men but from far more women about scholarship and higher ed for women. Anyone else experiencing this? Why from so many women do you think?

It shocked me. She herself is certified in several computer related topics. My mother was a Ph.D. FFS. My youngest brother has two doctoral degrees: J.D. and Ph.D. My other brother has a B.A. and started his own business at 16. Dad was math, science, law. Knowlege IS power.

I'm starting to learn to "know when to walk away, know when to run" but it weighs on me as any social injustice. It's not just abuse, it's destructive to society. Entire generations, many cultures all have organized against glass ceilings that persist and/or are in decline. :(
