If you have allergies or bad reactions to PEG (glycols in general), then get AstraZeneca. If you have issues with the preservative Polysorbate 80, get the others. Some of us need a choice, stop ignoring disabled people.
AstraZeneca, Moderna or Pfizer? Take whichever COVID-19 vaccine you’re offered, experts say - The Globe and Mail theglobeandmail.com/canada/a…

That's very interesting Erin. My immunotherapy treatments in 2013 had pegylation and I got so sick and PEG is used in Vape products which I don't myself use but I suspect when people got sick that the peg was part if not all of the reason so nobody has ever seemed to look.

With my chemical sensitivity I’m sure PEG would be bad for me. A friend who has similar issues is a nurse and got sick on her first dose then VERY sick with her 2nd. I use coconut milk with the same preservative as the AstraZ, so I know that will be less risky.

I'm sorry your friend got sick, and glad AstraZ will be tolerable for you. Many high risk patients in Arizona are waiting due to distribution glitches. I'm advised PEG is a concern but to take the vaccine first available as infection is riskier. Very helpful info, thanks Erin!

If you want my chemical reaction rescue supplement list, let me know. It got me through living next to an illegal factory in a basement in Toronto that was blowing industrial adhesives in my yard. 😑

How awful for you and all folks in the area. I would appreciate and be very grateful for your list of helpful supplements!

It took me two years but I got them shut down. I can’t imagine how sick it made the people who lived above them.

Brava! I grew up in New Jersey but was born in New York. Many have called New Jersey 'cancer alley' . It was and remains a very toxic place especially along the port cities where I grew up. The speculation is that exposure to many things were part of the reasons I became so ill.

I grew up in Hamilton and in Sudbury, both known at the time for their pollution. In Sudbury they had air sulphur warnings when I was in elementary school an we would watch them pour the bi-product slag down the hills. Many of us got cancer young and have various illnesses.

Definitely a connection.

Down to the dying marrow in my bones I agree. There was a Benzene spill when I was a child and across the river I had a cousin 10 years older than me who died of very aggressive form of leukemia as well. I am sure the two are related. You are awesome to have fought back and won.

I think you and I have fighty natures in common. 😉

Professional contrarians AKA lawyers call me contrarian LOL! I don't don't like to fight with individuals and I don't like conflict but when it comes to humanity I am a protector and I think we share that. I really appreciate your insights as we get to know each other better. 😊
