I remember frames, and a dreadful thing they were, but don't think I used them much. Tables, though--I was guilty of that one for a number of years.

Dreadful but interesting and useful in many cases. As for table guilt, we must stop that. It was what we had and it did progress web layouts - it was more the incessant nesting and presentation that made them problematic IMO. :)

Tables were best practice for a while--no shame to anyone for using them then. These days we can use them for their intended purpose, though.
