Kennedy assassination and burial all weekend

JFK I was too young too recall. I had a huge little girl crush on Robert Kennedy so that hit harder at the time.

1969: moon landing, on The School Television. At 6 I was disappointed it was all fuzzy. 1989: munching-off of the top of the Berlin Wall, which seemed an utterly impossible event. I can't think of a third one, having lived a largely TV-free life, but I remember radio versions.

Print has always been my primary medium until digital and now I use sites for two major activities: Social interaction and reasearch. I bought one TV in 1996. Radio through the 70s I had, then only in cars. Speaking of cars, I bought my car new in 1999. Just hit 30,000 miles!

Watching live coverage of 9/11

This seems to be a fairly Global phenomenon. 911 fall of the towers is the thing that people remember most however we had the Pentagon and the Pennsylvania plane go down and we rarely talk about those but they were equally shocking in reality. Always wondered about that.
