I'm preparing my slides for this evening's tech talk (100 signups, gobsmacked me, I don't know how to absorb that just yet but thank you so much) I'm wondering if @segdeha can facilitate a volunteer ASL interpreter too, or just me presenting or? If possible, I want your hands! :)

Oh, that is a cool idea to have an ASL person. What platform are using? Some have live/real time automated captioning. I know, it's far from perfect, but it is a useful addition, too!

Hi There :) Via Meetup - and I'm out of practice big-time with presenting live or online (2016 was the last time) so I'm hoping for some insight and practice prior to this evening! I do know re: automatic captioning but both is good too!

I once ended up talking about emerging technologies to a bunch of library directors with NO technology. The projector went out about 5 minutes in. :-D SO, I talked about trend, but being flexible and adaptative.

You did what I just described. It's a socratic style, or in my case, rabbinical (10 rabbis, 10,000 opinions lol) Can be a cultural means to argue many sides of a given issue. The process is known to promote critical thinking (we need it!)

Likwise m'dear! It'll be on YouTube after at some point, how's the weather in Georgia? The north and southwest got slammed with snow yesterday. Climate change much? :P
