Great at rhetoric but joyless person. Didn't finish most of his works, cruel father, major depression, lost most of his family in death camps, was into 'disturbing" porn, used sex-workers and reviewed them in local news. His work was published against his wishes after his death.

It's a sad, tragic story in so many ways. Like so many great, confused, damaged and yet extraordinary lives both famous and infamous. /insert long sigh here ;-)
