Still my #1 company I want to work for that hasn’t taken me

That's a shame and in my opinion which is a strong one and a long one it is their loss. Completely. They would be wise to relook at your incredible history and advocacy which aligns with theirs over decades. I never worked for them either for what it's worth and I'd have liked to

Most recently applied for a webdev manager role and was told they were moving forward with candidates that had “more experience”. The job was readvertised a couple of months later. I didn’t reapply.

You know this really harshes my Mozilla Buzz. I am so sorry for that shame on them. People really don't know a good thing when they have it do we.

I wouldn’t have minded so much if the JD had emphasised management experience over webdev experience. My CV is not so strong on management. But I’d like to think pretty strong on webdev. “Frotnend Architect” at Yahoo for example.

It's a very hurtful thing they did to you. That is a huge problem in our industry. In 2016 someone asked what gave me any credentials to do community relations. I felt the same damn way. It's like if you don't know by now I am certainly not going to waste my breath telling you.❤️

There are people in this world who are so focused and have such blinders on in order to not be startled by truth it's sickening. This is why I'm going towards scholarship rather than practice now. Education is a pillar of foundation and we lack it. It hurts us and the world.
