CAPTCHA is a #FAIL of everything embraced by #OpenWeb thinkers. While I do not blame @GlobalDelight who make great sofware, perhaps this #CAPTCHA generated on their site will bring company awareness as to the #social #UX #a11y distress this technology causes. #WebDev #WebDesign

This makes an unfortunate use case for me as a member of the Errors subgroup working on standards for CAPTCHA as this will likely cause much distress. This is unacceptable in every way. ML/AI needs to do a lot better than this.

Thank you. And your quote "Tech is not neutral" is an absolute when attached to human use in a social, mass communication medium. As we have witnessed these last years in truly disturbing ways.
