Hierarchical size order and semantic order aren't always tied together. Size !== semantic importance.

One thing to keep in mind here, I'm no good at the English language, there very well could be a disconnect between what my brain thinks and what you are reading. :)

I was almost forced to take English as a 2nd language in college though because my professors thought I wouldn't pass my Freshman level English requirements. Speaking is no problem for me, but my reading/writing isn't fantastic.

You seem to write perfectly well to me. As for the dyslexia, is it a letter order issue or different? I have issues with language too, but they fall under OCD. For real :)

Mine are most memory based. I'll read the same line of a sentence twice and not realize it. I'll often read some words as completely different words that are similar shapes

Now you're hitting my brain's sweet spot these days. I finished a class in Cognitive Neuroscience a month back or so and now am studying anatomy and physiology of the brain. I want to find better ways of measuring language and meaning in the physiological sense over application.
